The Danby was a gift for my parents who built their house back in the late 60's. As such, not a lot of space was available in their kitchen without tearing out some really nice cabinetry to install a dishwasher. The table-top design fit perfectly in their kitchen, and the removable attachment for fill/drain doesn't make plumbing an issue. Overall, a great buy for those who don't have a lot of children/dishes (holds service for four people), and even less space.
