Compactor's cheap plastic gears failed after 3 months, and took 4 visits from Whirlpool's unskilled and ignorant servicemen to fix. It then failed again 2 months later with the same problem. Stay away from this company.
This item is shipped via common truck freight carrier. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been shipped which will provide the name and contact information of the carrier used and a tracking number and website information enabling you to track your shipment online. The freight carrier will contact you to set up an appointment once the order arrives in your area. They will work around your schedule and will give you an approximate delivery time. All our deliveries include bringing the product to your house. If you are a second floor or have multiple steps please call to make arrangements before placing your order. If you are in the Metro New York and Metro New Jersey area our local shipping company will make the delivery for larger appliances.
