Cooking and baking are generally left to ovens and stovetops; a microwave is designed to quickly and conveniently reheat meals or defrost frozen food products.  This GE model can do both simple cooking and quick heating.  It's is easy to install and easy to operate, with user friendly controls and hanging or trim kits available.

This GE Spacemaker II 1.0 cu. ft. 800W microwave oven features convenience cooking controls that allow cooking and reheating at the touch of a button. The Auto/Time Defrost feature will automatically defrost food for a specified ammount of time. It has variable scroll speed to display cooking instructions at a present speed for easy readability. It also features a kitchen timer and a child lockout to prevent the oven from being accidentally started.The optional trim kit allows for built-in installation of the countertop microwave oven in a wall or cabinet alone, or over a GE 27'' single electric wall oven. The optional hanging kit allows for installation under a cabinet, freeing up valuable counter space. A mounting template provides all the necessary measurements for installation on practically any wood or metal cabinet.
