This Weber Genesis model is a top-of-the-line 60” freestanding grill that offers up plenty of cooking space. How much? Over 500 square inches on the main grilling grate. This grate is constructed with 7mm diameter stainless steel rods and patented Flavorizer bars. The key to grilling is evenly distributing the heat and with this durable grate you’ll have no problem cooking your food to perfection every time. And speaking of perfection, there is also a wonderfully-designed warming rack which is great for toasting up hamburger buns and hot dog rolls.
But you can’t just have meat alone. You need some enticing side dishes. That’s where the three side-mounted stainless steel burners will come in handy. Great BBQ. After years of purchasing inexpensive BBQ's and replacing the guts every year or two I elected to spend more money on a better product. Heats fast and evenly. I hated the graphics-only assembly instructions. There are a few steps where you are guessing, but otherwise not difficult to put together. Looks great and solid construction. Love the electronic lighter and the scale that tells me how much propane is in the tank.

The purchase and [...] were very good. Assembly was not as simple as it could have been, a few better pictures and some verbage would have been nice. It's a pretty and solid product that should out-last all my previous one's. Although three time more expensive than prior BBQ's, it's at least three times better.While we were on vacation my inlaws stayed at our home. I asked if he used the BBQ, he said he did not but he looked at it and was thinking of buying one. I told him how much is was, I think he's goint to think a little harder.I'm very happy with it.

Be careful buying the grill cover. Do not buy the one which has screened areas above both shelves. There is a new cover out by Weber which corrects this cover leakage problem.

I have been buying a Char-Broil grill every 3 or 4 years for as long as I have been married. I finally decided to take the plunge and go with a Weber and I will never go back. The parts to this grill and heavy, well-built, and look to last a long, long time.
I have already done smoking and several indirect sessions on it and it worked beautifully (smoke using the front burner, not the back, the back vent releases too much of your smoke for it to be effective).
The only con I have is that the flavorizor bars are too long for my dishwasher (one of the reasons I opted for the stainless version).
I fully expect this grill to be on my patio for at least the next 10-15 years.

We researched BBQs and went out and looked at them before we made a decision. So we knew what we wanted - natural gas not propane, stainless steel not colored, and a grill that got good reviews. The Weber Genesis S310 Natural Gas Grill met all our criteria.
The first week we grilled fish, steak, asparagus, corn, peppers, peaches, polenta cake, chicken pieces, chicken on a beer can (been waiting to do that!) and pork chops. Everything tasted great and the weber worked great.
