Came with all necessary templates for easy installation. It does have a light underneath to light up the stove. If not venting, you have to turn the vent fan, make sure when you do that the fan blades aren't rubbing. Very quiet in operation, and the best part, you can turn off the sound - NO BEEPS early in the morning.
